Tea är helt underbar! En sådan häst!

Tea has stepped up!

Jag satt ju bara upp på henne spontant utan hjälp en kväll. Då gick vi över presenning och vattenmatta. Påföljande ridtur hade jag pannlampa då det var kolsvart. Vi tog oss ända till hagens grind där jag hoppade av och stängde den så vi kunde gå tillbaka och släppa ut övriga hästar. Tredje gången fick hon vara demohäst på olika hinder. Labyrinten nedan lyckades jag inte riktigt styra henne i men presenning och vattenmatta var återigen inga probelm och bollen gick hon fram till och puttade på men paraplyet ville hon inte att jag skulle ta, däremot kunde jag få med en kon. Upp på lastpallen gick hon också - med två fötter i alla fall.

Varje gång har hittils varat i max fem minuter och med mycket tid emellan varje tillfälle. Vi jobbar långsamt framåt, kanske blir det lite fokus på tömkörning eller inkörning framöver - eller mer manövrerbarhet från marken? Vi får se vad tid, ljus och lust får oss att hitta på.

Hittills bevisar hon hela tiden vilken underbar ras Rockyn är! (Det låter ju helt galet på alla plan att göra så här, men jag känner mig lugn och trygg just för att Tea är en så otrolig häst)

Tea becomes a riding horse!

Tea is wonderful! Such a horse!

I got on her back spontaneously an evening some time ago. Then we walked over a tarp and a water mat. The following ride I wore a head lamp as it was pitch black. We got to the end of the pasture so I could get up and close the gait so we could let the other horses out. Third time I used her to demo some obstacles. The labyrinth was a little hard so it didn't went perfect yet but the tarp and the water mat was no problems at all. She walked up to the ball and pushed it, but she didn't want me to catch the umbrella form horseback but she allowed me to get a smaller object. And she could step up on the "box" - at least with two feet.

Every lessons for her hasn't been more than five minutes and with a lot of days in between. We work slowly, maybe it is going to be long reining or harness work that is coming up? Or some more work form the ground? We'll se what we like and what time and light makes possible.

So far she shows all the time what a marvelous bred the rocky is! (It sound kind of crazy what I do with her but I feel secure as she has such a level mind.)
