Ihopsläpp

Allt var förberett. Jag och Mimmi tog förmiddagsledigt från jobbet, alla hästarna hade i lugn och ro fått undersöka nya hagen, långpiskar framtagna, hinkar med godis, kameror, hjälmar och skyddsväst. Alla hästarna skulle föras samman. Vi var föreberedda på allt. Nya hagen blev det självklara valet då den är helt plan och full med högt gräs, enda nackdelen är att även alla blodsugande insekter trivs extra bra där.

Först släppte vi in Pepper och Calinka ifrån två olika grindar. De hälsade, skrev någon gång, travade några steg. Calinka läxade upp Pepper rejält (tur att jag tog av skorna). Och så var det lugnt. Percy var däremot lite orolig på sin sida staketet. Så, då ansåg jag att det var dags att släppa in henne med. Fortfarande inga problem, det tog flera minuter innan Pepper hälsade på henne. Och hon vågade säga ifrån – tack och lov. Jag var osäker på det i och med att hon är så mild, men antagligen kände hon Calinkas stöd. Så mycket mer aktion blev det inte. Maria suckade då hon hoppats på att få lite härliga bilder i fart –tji fick hon.

När jag kom upp senare på dagen var det fortfarande lugnt. Percy och Calinka gick närmare varandra, men Pepper fick nästan vara med dem, i alla fall ibland.

Everything was prepared. Mimmi and I had taken the morning of work, all horses had had time to check out the new pasture peacefully, the long whips was there, feeding buckets with candy, cameras and helmets. Prepared for everything. All horses was going to be together. The new pasture was the place as it is flat and full of grass, the only set back is all blood feasting insects that thrives here.

First we let Calinka and Pepper together. The said hello, yelled a couple of times and trotted some steps. Calinka told Pepper who was the boss( luckliy I took of her shoes). And that was it. Percy on the other hand was a little bit worried on her side of the fence. So I thought that we could bring her in as well. Still no problems, it took minutes before Pepper grated her. And she had the courage to say no to him – thanks! I wasn’t sure if she would as she is such a mild, but probably she felt Calinkas support. Then there wasn’t much more action. Maria sighted as she had planned to get some nice photos of running horses. Not happened this day.

 

When I passed by later in the day it was still calm. Percy and Calinka grazed closely to each other, but Pepper was allowed to be close as well. At least every now and then.
